In this time of uncertainty and to help with "community spread" of COVID-19 we have decide to make some changes to our appointment protocol. Trying to do our best to ensure the safety of all pets, clients and staff members.
We will continue to be here for for all your pets needs and will work to provide the best medical care as we maintain proper public health protocols....
We do ask if you or someone in the household are having symptoms of any illness or have been exposed to someone with any symptoms of illness to not schedule an appointment at this time. Any COVID-19 exposure please stay home.
EFFECTIVE THURSDAY MARCH 19TH(and continuing until further notice) we will be allowing only veterinary staff in our building. We will be adjusting procedures as we adapt to our new protocols and we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we work through this.
EFFECTIVE MONDAY MARCH 30TH (and continue until further notice)we will be closing on Mondays at 5pm and will be closed on Fridays.
Please call us when you are in our parking lot(please be on time) and we will have a staff member come out to your car to retrieve your pet. We will be gathering as much information by phone to make the transition as smooth as possible.
*Note all cats must be in a secure cat carrier(we will not transport cats into the hospital without a secure carrier), Dogs must be on a proper fitting and working leash and collar(please make sure dogs have had time to potty before appointment) . We will return the pet to you with receipts, medications and instructions after their exams.
*This is not a drop off appointment and we do ask for you to remain in our parking lot until we return your pet(unless of course it is a scheduled surgery, grooming or boarding appointment where your pet will be staying with us and we will arrange a pick up time).
*We know the above protocol may not always be obtainable with some pets anxiety levels and we want you to know we will work around those individual cases as they arise. Keeping in mind we are cleaning our facility and work surfaces multiple times throughout the day and when the need arises we will make adjustments.
As always you will have the opportunity to talk with Dr. Karlburg with any concerns.
We understand this is a difficult time for many and we are doing our best to ensure all of our clients, staff and pets stay as healthy and happy as possible.
*Also we want to remind everyone that many medications and products can be ordered from our online store, for questions on how to order from our online store, please visit beltlineanimalhospital.com (click on the little blue and white pill at the bottom of the screen) or call us at 608-222-1515, we are happy to help you navigate.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we figure out the best protocol to follow keeping everyone's health and safety in mind
